InterAid Uganda Limited (IAU) is inviting potential and interested candidates to fill the following positions:

Job Title: Livelihood Community Volunteers

No. of Posts: Seven (7)

Duty Station: Kampala

Reports to: Livelihood Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Support the Mobilization and sensitization of community members to form VSLAs and IGA groups for self-reliance.
  2. Provide information to community members on the available livelihood services and procedures for access
  3. Support clients to fill Application forms and liaise with Livelihood assistants to follow up on livelihood applications
  4. Give feedback to Refugees on their application for livelihood support
  5. Support the training of IGA beneficiaries in financial literacy
  6. Compiling weekly reports and submit to the Section head
  7. Carry out any other task as directed by the Livelihood Officers from time to time

Specifications

  1. Should be a Urban Refugee
  2. Should be between the age of 18 to 50
  3. Should be willing to work as and when needed by the office

Qualifications

  1. Should poses a minimum of Senior Four leaving certificate or its equivalent
  2. Should be have been trained in Financial Literacy or Entrepreneurship
  3. Should have computer skills (Microsoft office)
  4. Should be able to speak English
  5. Knowledge of Luganda is an added advantage.
